On May 3rd from 9-4 Gold’s Gym in Sparks and the WCSD SHARE and Safe and Drug Free Schools are holding a Family and Community Event. Over 60 vendors are attending including: local agencies, departments, businesses, food vendors, ice cream, candy, face painting, bounce houses, demonstrations, Raffles, Silent Auctions, speakers, and information from many agencies to help the community and families. Schedule of events include a Hip Hop group, Mayor Martini speaks at 12:45, Martial Arts Demonstration, and a FREE CONCERT by the Shane Dwight Band starting at 1:00 playing for about 3 hours.
Fundraisers also include a spin-a-thon (riding stationary bikes) with your favorite radio personality, military, police, and firemen, Ken Shamrock will sign autographs and take pictures, putting contests, and other games throughout the day for everyone to participate and win. The raffle includes one night stay at S.V. Hot Springs, Gift cards to Scolari’s, Sportsman’s Warehouse, Painting from Cabela’s, Dinner for two at a local Steak House, Buffets, Massages, Medical Facials, Golf Passes, $300 to Sports Authority, Limo Rides, Passes to Wild Island and more added daily.
