What Really Causes Disease? Experts Blame Stored Emotions and Recommend...

Medical experts agree that no one knows what causes rheumatoid arthritis, other autoimmune disorders, or chronic pain. They say there is no known cure or way to prevent Parkinson’s disease, ulcerative colitis, multiple sclerosis, osteoarthritis, or dozens of other illnesses. Modern medicine doesn’t attempt to cure these conditions. Instead, it manages them for as long as possible with symptom-suppressing procedures and drugs.

But a growing number of physicians, medical experts, and health care practitioners believe they know how these illnesses begin and progress. It’s not all in your head, they say – but it is in the muscles and organs that store past traumas. Releasing stored traumas releases the illness’s underlying cause and helps the body heal from the inside out. The method they use is EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques), a do-it-yourself acupressure technique described in a free manual from the official EFT website. (Except taken from PRWEB)

“At least 85 percent of medical problems are physical manifestations of how stress, anxiety, or past traumas are held in and processed by the body,” says Los Angeles physician Eric Robins, MD. “EFT is the best technique for addressing these issues and clearing them out of the body.”

The speed and effectiveness of EFT is the result of treating the problem at its source, the imbalances in the body's energy system.  Stressful and traumatic experiences, that are not resolved, leave the body’s energy system in a state of imbalance, and we experience strong negative emotions that are difficult to let go of as a result. Once these imbalances are corrected, the negative emotion quickly shifts into a positive emotion.  EFT does this by having the recipient "tune into" the negative emotion, tap a set of acupressure treatment points and perform other energy balancing exercises to help the mind/body heal itself. This process can take from five minutes to an hour depending on the number of aspects (separate emotional parts of a feeling or a memory) which need to be treated.

Gary Craig, the Stanford-trained engineer who developed EFT, worked with Vietnam War Veterans to help them resolve some of their traumatic memories. Says Craig, “in the course of applying EFT, the Veterans experienced profound emotional peace for the first time in 20 years. A side-benefit was that many of the men reported that their chronic physical pain diminished or disappeared along with their emotional pain. Soon we were successfully applying EFT with people who were suffering chronic pain from arthritis, back injury and even fibromyalgia. Emotional and physical relief tend to go hand-in-hand when doing EFT.”

EFT is a form of psychological acupressure that used light tapping instead of needles to stimulate traditional Chinese acupuncture points. The tapping on the designated points on the face and body is combined with verbalizing the identified problem followed by a general affirmation phase. Combining these ingredients of the EFT technique balances the energy system and appears to relieve psychological stress and physiological pain. Restoring the balance of the energy system allows the body and mind to resume their natural healing abilities. EFT is safe, easy to apply, and is non-invasive.

Many people here in our area have begun using EFT to resolve all types of issues, from stress relief to weight loss. The success rate is very high and the technique is very easy. It seems to be most effective when learned from an experienced practitioner who can offer suggestions and guidance, however, once the technique has been learned the individual is encouraged to continue using the technique on your own for other issues that may arise.

Pamper Your Mind with EFT

Most of us don’t have either the time or the money to go to the spa on a regular basis. In fact most Americans today don’t have time to get a full nights rest much less take a mental vacation.

 

It is sad that we forget how important it is to take care of our minds and bodies on a consistent basis. Health issues are at an all time high, there is more depression and illness then ever before being linked to stress.

 

What can we do about it in this fast paced world?

 

To my clients, I recommend a few quick rounds of EFT any time stress or anxiety surfaces. It can take less then a minute for most people to experience relief from their symptoms.

 

It is more sever stress, like overwhelm, it may be necessary to excuse yourself from others and do a more thorough round of EFT in a restroom or outside. Typically even when around others a few taps on the inner wrist or finger points creates a great deal of relief and the people around you won’t even notice.

 

Giving yourself a few minutes everyday to resolve some of your daily stress is very therapeutic and allows you to recharge your batteries without falling behind on your tasks. A simple set up phrase can be sufficient for facilitating relaxation. For example; Even though I feel so stressed, I give myself permission to relax. With a reminder phrase of; I let myself relax.

 

Often, people believe EFT is only for resolving big issues or is only used when with a practitioner. I want to show you that the simplicity of EFT can be a powerful tool for general maintenance or quick relief for stressful situations. Try it for a day or two and I think you will be pleasantly surprised.

Are you getting enough oxygen?

"Our bodies were designed to operate in an environment that existed hundreds of years ago -- when 30 to 40 percent of the air breathed was oxygen. Due in a large part to pollution, today, oxygen levels are about half that - 20 to 22 percent in most U.S. cities; as low as 15 percent in others.

According to Ed McCabe, author of "Flood Your Body With Oxygen," by living in an oxygen-deficient environment and not feeding our cells the proper oxygen and nutrients needed for cleaning out toxins and wastes, our body fluids and blood can become dirty and toxic. A lack of oxygen to our cells weakens our immune system, which may lead to viral infections, damaged cells, bacterial growths, inflamed joints, serious heart and circulatory problems, toxic buildup in blood and premature aging.

However, if the cells in our bodies are rich in oxygen, mutated cells may be less able to reproduce Other benefits of having adequate levels of oxygen in our systems: increased energy; the ability to maintain healthy cholesterol levels; enhanced brain function; a reduction in stress; the ability to overcome fatigue; and looking and feeling younger."




It is true that our environment exposes us to quite a beating. Some things that I believe are very beneficial to restoring our bodies natural ability to get adequate oxygen include; Qigong (or any other aerobic exercise that gets your body breathing more), supplementation for both nutritional value and restorative purposes, eating organic and unprocessed foods, drinking plenty of clean water, breath work, air purification systems, adding plants to your home (or any environment you spend a considerable amount of time in), and techniques for rebalancing your body.

I also have invested in green pans which do not let off the toxic chemicals that standard pots and pans do when they get to a specific heat.

There are excellent techniques, body movements and natural exercises that restore balance in your body and therefore allow the body to function optimally. I really like Body Talk Access because it is simple and effective.

Supplements can be used for detoxification, nourishment and healing. There are a lot of excellent supplements on the market. I personally like chlorella as one of my supplements for it ability to cleans heavy metal toxins and provide nutrients. Antioxidants are a wonderfully beneficial addition to a regimen.

Since the skin is like a sponge and absorbs what ever it is in contact with, I use natural lotions and soaps. I have made my home a safer place by using house hold products that are free of chemicals and safe for both me and the environment.

Although I am not a saint when it comes to eating, I have established a few ground rules. I still enjoy some of the luxuries in moderation, which I think is important for emotional balance. First, I eat what I enjoy in terms of healthy foods and do not try to force myself to eat something just because I think I should.

I buy organic produce and foods when they are available. I stay away from as much processed food as possible. And I drink Gano Healthy Coffee to get my coffee fix.

Are We Running on Empty?

In the media today, we are inundated with fad diets that claim to be the “best way to eat”, the “only right way to diet” and a mind-boggling amount of advertisements about supplements and diet products.

 

Every major food manufacture seems to be jumping on the health bandwagon, with their fortified foods and beverages. I have seen everything from Organic Macaroni and Cheese to Vitamin Enhanced Water, but how many of these so-called health foods are actually healthy? Well, I am not here to say don’t eat these things, only to stress the importance of getting the nutrients your body needs to stay healthy.

 

Much research has gone into the health benefits of various supplements and “health foods” however there is a great deal of bias when research is funded by the manufacture of these products. So to dig down into the un-bias research requires a bit of work, but the results turn up some pretty startling facts.

 

When I worked in the Health Supplement Industry, I became aware of the effects of synthetic supplements verse whole food supplements and it is truly horrific to me that the general public is quite literally flushing there money and their health down the toilet. Our bodies are not machines and they do not know how to process synthetic supplements, some of these synthetic supplements are actually harmful to the body. And yet all of these new and improved healthy versions of foods are fortified with synthetic vitamins.

 

Luckily because of my nutrition background, I’ve been exposed to the importance of whole food supplements and the value they contribute to our wellbeing. I can honestly say that for the past 10 years I have religiously taken my regimen of whole food supplements and have endorsed the positive benefits to multitudes over the years.

 

There are a lot of very respectable manufactures of organic whole food supplements that really do care about the wellbeing of their customers and it is not my intention to plug names, but I think it is wise to do your research and get on a good regimen. Our bodies require vitamins, minerals, trace minerals, healthy fats (omegas), amino acids, and water. All of these basic categories can be broken down, but for the sake of this article I am going to generalize.

 

There is a lot of promotion of antioxidants and super-foods, which are also very valuable to your health. Many people have their favorites and that is great, but the basics are the most essential and should always be covered first.

 

I personally have my favorites and those include greens as one of my main sources of vitamins and minerals, bee products (which are excellent for your health, but you must test yourself first for any allergies), garlic and several others.

 

It is unfortunate how for the sake of money we are often mislead by large and small companies, but with a little education you can regain control over your health and wellbeing. Proper supplementation is one of the corner stones of good health. It is not the only component to your wellbeing, but should certainly not be ignored. And as I said earlier, I do not suggest that you stop consuming fortified foods, only that you become aware that it is not a reliable source for the necessary nutrients your body requires. Invest in yourself by honoring the amazing body God gave you and fuel it with natural foods and supplements.

The US Government tried to ban them on TV and radio back in 1974. They were once arguably used to boost sales of popcorn in movie theaters by almost 60%. And today, they’re the subject of numerous Derren Brown-style “mind” shows airing throughout the globe.

I’m talking, of course, about subliminal messages.

However despite all the media hype, subliminal messages aren’t just used by advertising moguls trying to get us to buy another can of coke. They can also be employed to make serious and lasting change in our own lives.

In this short article, I’m going to share a method you can use to get subliminal messages working for you—starting tonight!

But before we begin, let’s ask ourselves: what exactly are subliminal messages?

Subliminal is defined as “below the threshold of consciousness”. Subliminal messaging refers to the act of sending messages direct to the powerful subconscious mind, the part of your brain that controls everything from memory to body temperature to providing your conscious mind with its core traits.

Subliminals really hit the headlines back in the 70’s, when advertisers began inserting messages into commercials. The messages were simply 100-millisecond flashes, and nobody officially “saw” them. Yet sales mysteriously rocketed.

Even Hollywood got in on the act. Alfred Hitchcock planted his own subliminals inside the movie “Psycho”!

These suggestions were having so much impact, that the US Government almost banned subliminals back in the mid-70’s – and UK, Australian and Canadian governments actually did ban the technology.

Yet by this time, the news was out – and individuals were beginning to realize the potential of subliminals as a revolutionary self-help tool. The idea of sending self-improvement affirmations direct to the subconscious mind was suddenly open to everyone.

But how? There are two primary ways you can actually “send” subliminal messages. Visually, such as using the latest Subliminal Power software program (www.subliminal-power.com) to flash messages around your computer screen as you work. Or, less effectively, using sound, such as with the subliminal CDs you can order online at sites such as Subliminal CDs (www.subliminal-cds.com).

Yet if your budget is low, there’s an even cheaper way to get the power of subliminal messaging working for you!

Here’s how. Begin by identifying a couple of core goals you’d like to concentrate on in your life right now. For example, you may wish to learn faster or quit smoking. Then, write that goal down as a simple, short, positive affirmation.

For example, “I am a quick learner” or “I am ready to quit smoking”. Other examples include “I invest wisely”, “My reading speed increases every day”, or “I am now more confident”.

Be careful: do not use negative terms, such as “Not” or “Don’t” in your message. The subconscious does not understand such words in context and would read “I don’t gain weight” as “I gain weight”. You have been warned.

Now write your affirmation, clearly and in thick black marker pen, onto a sheet of white cardboard. Create three-or-so cards, each with affirmations focusing on your core theme, and store them next to your bed with a flashlight.

Next comes the unsociable part!

We’re going to catch your mind in a highly receptive state, by waking it up in the middle of the night, when the door to your subconscious is wide open.

Set your alarm clock for 3am, then go to sleep as normal. As soon as you hear the ring, turn off the alarm and—almost instinctively—pick up the affirmation cards and your flashlight. The room should be pitch black.

Next, flick the flashlight on and off very quickly a dozen times over each affirmation card. While doing this, stare at the cards. Do not consciously try to make out the words. These subliminal messages are for the subconscious.

When you’re done, simply turn off the flashlight, put down the cards and return to sleep. It will take just two minutes of your time and I guarantee you’ll fall straight back into deep and restful slumber.

That’s it: you’ve just “sent” a bundle of subliminal messages straight to your subconscious. What follows is exciting!

After the first few nights of using this technique, most individuals report problem-solving dreams that assist in their goals or influence their decisions. Just a week later and practically all participants note a serious movement toward their core goal. Their leaning speed improves dramatically. Their nicotine addiction is cut in half.

As the change comes from within, it isn’t always obvious. Yet a few weeks down the line, most individuals sit back and realize just how far they’ve progressed without consciously realizing it. Soon, your goals have been achieved... the messages worked. When ready, you can move onto your next set of goals by simply writing out a new set of affirmation cards.

It’s a very simple system, yet remains highly powerful and terribly underused.

Most people reading this article won’t try this straightforward experiment. Maybe they just don’t believe it will work, or maybe they view it as being altogether too much hassle.

It’s inconvenient, certainly—perhaps not as user-friendly as a piece of modern subliminal software. But you think it doesn’t work? Then try it for a week, and see for yourself. Anthony Robbins, Tiger Woods, Derren Brown, New Scientist magazine, even the U.S. Government all know the power behind subliminal messaging.

How Our Bodies Tell Us Something Is Wrong

We tend to be ignorant to the infinite intelligence of our bodies. If we get a paper cut we expect it to heal, yet when we have a headache we pop a pill and think nothing more of it. How many times have you ever thought, hmm… I wonder why I have this headache? Could it be caused by my current beliefs and circumstances?

 

Some of the greatest healers and plenty of modern scientists have proven that our physical symptoms are in fact causes by our thought, beliefs and the circumstances we have created. Today it has become an accepted fact that stress is the main cause of many serious diseases.

 

If we are able to stop our random functioning and turn inwards when our body calls out a warning, perhaps we can begin to resolve the very issues that cause so much physical and emotional discomfort in our lives. Something as simple as asking our selves for the reason for our discomfort can lead us to profound breakthroughs. The mind will always respond to a question with an answer. If you don’t believe me, give it a try. It is the natural instinct of the mind.

 

When you find yourself in conflict, whether it is brought to your attention via a physical issue or an emotional/internal conflict, ask yourself, “What is my body trying to tell me?” or “What can I learn from this?” Any question which is stated in a manner to produce a positive, life enhancing response will benefit you.

 

Once a life lesson is brought to the surface for realization and acceptance, it will instantly resolve itself. Often times, physical issues present for years will spontaneously heal.

 

When you learn to listen to your body and use the power of your mind, you empower yourself to heal. These same techniques can be used to create a more harmonious and fulfilling life. People who are naturally more intuitive may think this is obvious, however, millions of people are completely blind to the power of their own mind and body.

 

Everyone one of us has the amazing potential to live a healthy, happy and abundant life. It begins with awakening to our most subtle instincts. Unfortunately our society has lead us to believe we are at the mercy of medical doctors and synthetic medications. It is our choice whether or not we will go within and relearn our true nature.
